HOME-START BRISTOL (HSB) is recruiting two Trustees to join its current nine-member Trustee Board team. For one of those posts we are looking for someone with a background in Human Resources. Our charity supports families living within the geographical boundaries of Bristol and South Gloucestershire, who have at least one child under 5 and who are experiencing problems affecting their wellbeing as a family. This support is provided by our trained volunteers (under the guidance of our professional co-ordinators) who visit a family each week, offering support, friendship and practical assistance. Coop supports funding for volunteer training!

Coop stores in Westbury-on-Trym have raised a fantastic £4,252,52 on behalf of Home-Start Bristol. Following HSB’s successful application to the Coop Community Fund, 1% of Coop branded purchases in the Westbury stores over the past year was donated to Home-Start Bristol. Trustees Chris Williamson and Sarah Birch received a presentation cheque from store manager Chris Gilbert and his team along with the opportunity to further promote Home-Start Bristol to shoppers on a busy Saturday. Fundraising Abseil 2019

A huge WELL DONE to everyone who took part in our sponsored ABSEIL. It was an amzing day with lots of brave people facing their fears, whilst raising money for Home-Start Bristol. A family’s Story
