Information For Current Volunteers

NEW Diary Sheets!

Home-Start UK has introduced a new Monitoring and Evaluation system (MESH) which will enable us to demonstrate the variety of families we work with and how their circumstances vary and change. In addition families will be more involved in the assessment of their position by scoring how they are coping with each of the needs identified. This will give us a ‘journey of change’ for each parent and demonstrate the impact of Home-Start’s work. The newstructured diary sheets will be invaluable in terms of supervision, safeguarding, monitoring and evidencing support – the more information we can capture the better our chances of attracting funding.

Expenses

If you do not wish to claim expenses it is advantageous to the scheme to claim and donate with gift aid. Contact the office for more information.

The Forms

Please take time to familiarise yourself with the new form and start using them as soon as possible. (They should be sent into the office monthly as before). We will be discussing the changes with you individually in supervision but if you have any questions in the meantime please ring your co-ordinator. The separate sheet gives you the codes to be used and it may be useful to laminate this copy for reference. If you require a laminated copy please contact the office. The new forms and codes are now on the right under ‘Downloads’.

I.D. Badges:

If you haven’t already done so please send in 2 passport size photos of yourself to the office, as we are in the process of making all of our volunteers I.D. badges.
